Supplies & Embellishments Used in this Project

Quick Instructions for this Project

  1. First, we will cut our card stock for stamping and our card base. Laying the white card stock horizontally on the trimmer, cut it at 5 1/2″. Now you have two, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ pieces of card stock. Laying the card stock horizontally on the trimmer, cut it at 4 1/4″. Do the same to the other piece. Now you have four, A2 size (5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″) pieces for stamping. Okay, now for the card base, laying the off-white card stock horizontally on the trimmer, cut it at 5 1/2″. Place one of these horizontally on the Scor-pal and score down the middle (look for the asterisk). Do the same to the other piece. Now you have two, 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (A2) card bases!

  2. For the first card, turn card stock to portrait orientation and we’ll begin by stamping the Mini Leaf Stamp in dark green. Using the StampRight™ placement line, face leaf end toward the center to create the outline of the wreath and then turn the stamps so that the leaf stem is facing outward to create the inside of the wreath.
  3. Now, let’s add in the Tiny Lemons, stamping around the wreath in yellow. Clean stamp and repeat in light green. Now, let’s stamp the Tiny Flower in light pink and light purple, cleaning stamp between colors. Looking at the wreath fill in any white spaces with any of the stamps that you have already used. Now, stamp the Tiny Sprig in dark green around the wreath. Using the StampRight™ placement line, face sprig end toward the center to create the outline of the wreath and then turn the stamps so that the sprig stem is facing outward to create the inside of the wreath.

  4. Attach the unmounted stamp to the stamp mount and ink the “When life gives you” in dark green and “Lemons” in yellow. Stamp in the top right of the card. Mount and ink the “Squeeze the Day,” in yellow and stamp near the bottom right corner of the card. Tap on glitter glue all around the card. Wrap baker’s twine around the bottom of the card between the sentiment and wreath. Tape on the back of the card stock. Create a bow and glue it to the baker’s twine placed around the card. Glue the card stock to the card base.

  5. For the second card, turn the card stock to a horizontal orientation and create a mask with two Post-it Notes 3″ wide by 2-1/4″ tall. Place the mask in the center of the card. Using the StampRight™ placement line, face Mini Leaf stem toward the outside of the card stock and stamp around the edges, going off the card stock. Now, turn the stamps so that the leaf stem is facing toward the Post-it Note so that the top of the leaf is coming out over the edge of Post-it Note.

  6. Now stamp the Tiny Lemon in yellow ink, clean and stamp again in light green ink. Stamp the Tiny Flowers in light pink, clean and stamp again in light purple. Looking at the border, fill in any white spaces with any of the stamps that you have already used. Now, stamp the Tiny Sprig in dark green. Using the StampRight™ placement line, face Tiny Sprig stem toward the outside of the card stock and stamp around the edges, going off the card stock. Now, turn the stamps so that the sprig stem is facing toward the Post-it Note so that the top of the sprig is coming out over the edge of Post-it Note.

  7. Remove the mask. Attach the, “When Life Gives You Lemons” stamp to the mount. Ink up only, “When Life Gives You” with dark green ink. Stamp in the center of the white blank area, down from the border. Ink up, “Squeeze the Day” in dark green and stamp in the center of the white blank area, up from the border. Stamp the Tiny Lemon in yellow between both sentiments.

  8. Tap on glitter glue all around the border. Wrap baker’s twine around the bottom of the card through the center of the border, taping it on the back of the card stock. Glue the card stock to the card base.
